1. I'm walking down the rooooooooad. The people say hellooooo (if you know, you know).

2. I'm experiencing both extreme pride and misplaced confidence in my new pasta-making hobby.

3. Still booktoking - here is a video about holiday destinations and the books matching them.

4. There's been a bit of beer in the sun.

5. I've started doing a hike every morning, whatever the weather. Good for the soul etc.

Life of late:

1. Doing the thing I never don't want to be doing: sipping a glass in a piazza/plaza/place. Placa, here.

2. I can't believe it has taken me until the age of 37 to discover the unending benefits of wide-legged linen trousers (palazzo pants, I think), but I shall never go back.

3. I love that each European country has its own lager beer (s). Always tastes like the nectar of the gods in situ.

4. And more super bok/nectar, please.

5. Fresh off the plane from Canada, and every average building seems like a fine art installation.

6. Yellow everywhere. I love it.

7/8/9. I forgot what a gem Bath is. Here's the lady herself, Minerva-Sulis. I have never resisted and will never resist a pedimental sculpture. Bath...ah!

9/10. A bloody beautiful wedding in Devon. An absolute treat.

11. Selfie before Lisbon scooped me up into the night.

12. Back in Canada searching for beavers.

A bit of my latest life...

1. I visited a place called Panama City in Florida in March. Excellent baked oysters with garlic and parmesan. The biggest margs I've ever seen. Chillier than expected. Delayed my flight home due to illness.

2. I've been doing stuff on the other app again. This is me making a grapefruit, lime, raspberry marg in celebration of publishing news. It was delicious, actually.

3. My Monday Myriatid posts are back on Substack (link in my bio). This week, I wrote about a marmot and writing nooks.

4. I went ice fishing a few weeks ago. It's highly doubtful I'll become an enthusiast, but I was enthusiastic about drinking in a hut with friends.

5. Athena has been on my lap a lot.
